Who Are We
We're a creative couple living a dream. We love the creative process that comes with working with clay and wood.
One thing we are not, we are not "production" artists. We do not crank out mug after mug or bowl after bowl to create inventory for our site or craft fairs.
Our pieces are inspired by what we see and use around us. Each piece we create is an individual expression of our talent, desire and creative spirit.
Allison Sherwood ~ Potter
I've always felt that I was a creative person. I've always enjoyed art, cooking, decorating and entertaining. When I discovered pottery I was hooked after just one class!. The way the clay felt as it moved through my fingers and hands was mesmerizing to me. I experienced a freedom and creativity that I had not experienced before. What started with bowls, cups, platters and other utilitarian wares has progressed to more artistic pieces. I've recently found a love in creating horsehair Raku pottery. It follows the tradition of Japanese and Native American techniques. I'm also enjoying mining my own clay and developing my own glazes. There is so much I still need to explore in my quest of playing with clay. I hope you enjoy my one of a kind pieces as much as I enjoyed creating them.

Richard Sherwood ~ Wood Turner
Since 2019 I've enjoyed the process of finding the natural beauty that God has created in each piece of wood and celebrating the uniqueness that each piece becomes. There is an art to looking at a chunk of wood and seeing something in it. It could be a bowl or a vase or something else all together. And then there are the times where you think its going to be one shape and the wood decides it wants to be something else.
