This large bowl is 8"w x 5.5"h. Both horsehair and feathers were applied after the Raku firing. This vase is for decoration only and does not hold water. This is a decorative piece only and is not water tight. It's perfect as a stand-alone statement piece or with dried flowers added.

This one of a kind piece combines the ancient Japanese Raku firing technique with the Native-American art of adding delicate horsehair and feathers onto the vase's 1400 degree surface.
Each piece has gone through the creative process of being hand thrown, sculpted, trimmed and kiln fired twice. The piece is also cleaned and hand waxed and buffed to a soft finish.
Due to the nature of hand made ceramics, each piece is unique and there may be small imperfections.
